Today, Sunday, October 2nd- World Communion Sunday, we hear some testimonies from the men at Huntersfield Christian Training Center and the Men's Discipleship Recovery Ministry.

Just what is this ministry that you help support? Huntersfield Men is a Christ-centered discipleship and recovery program specializing in helping men who are struggling with addiction and other life-controlling issues. Their program focuses on developing the whole person through biblical and vocational training as well as providing them with tools to sustain long-term recovery. In an effort to sustain long-term recovery, they also dig into some of the barriers to peace and freedom in a man's life. The Huntersfield Men's program is challenging and their goal is to stretch each man spiritually, mentally and emotionally. The program last from 6 to 9 months at which time a resident will be eligible to apply to the Transition to Life Program. The Transition to Life program allows a man to experience the freedom of living and working off campus while enjoying the accountability and support the community provides.
